All of our South Dakota pheasant hunts are fully-guided on private land. We provide in-field transportation on our 4-seater Kawasaki mules to safely accommodate hunters, dogs and equipment. Our Labs are well-trained and eager to hunt. Hunter's dogs are welcomed (current vaccinations required). For the comfort of all our guests staying at River Hills Lodge, hunting dogs will be housed in our kennels. They will be warm, secure, and privately penned within walking distance from your room.

Day Hunts We offer single Day Trips of natural pheasant hunting on a variety of terrain full of wild birds for your party of 4 or more at $300/person. Reservations with deposit are required 5 days in advance. Review the Rate Card for options and pricing.

Deer Hunts - Hunters will need to secure their own license through the SD Game & Fish. The deadline for submitting online license applications for West River Deer is mid July.There is no deadline for Archery deer. Review the handout for complete information on Deer Hunting at River Hills Lodge. Mule Deer or White Tail 5 day hunt: $4,000/gun. To include pheasant hunting: $5,600.
